Engineered for speed and reliability
When you ship perishables, time isn’t a nice-to-have — it’s the difference between a great delivery and a refund. GLS® is built for fast, predictable regional transit, so products spend less time in the network and more time where they belong: with the customer.

GLS does not provide temperature-controlled transport, cold chain services, or climate-monitored shipping. Shippers are responsible for selecting appropriate packaging, including insulation and coolants, to protect perishable and temperature-sensitive products during transit. GLS assumes no liability for spoilage, deterioration, or damage resulting from temperature exposure during transport, handling, or delivery. Shippers should account for seasonal conditions, transit duration, and destination climate when preparing shipments.
Shippers are solely responsible for ensuring that food and pet food shipments comply with all applicable federal, state, and local food safety laws and regulations, including the FDA Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) and the Sanitary Transportation of Human and Animal Food rule. GLS provides general parcel delivery services and does not represent that its vehicles, facilities, or handling procedures meet food-grade or sanitary transportation standards. Shippers requiring regulatory compliance for food shipments should consult with their own food safety and regulatory advisors.
